Every land produces at least 1 additional Mana when you collect. Some land comes with additional Features, such as Butterfly Sancutaries or Great Waterfalls. Each such Feature provides an additional Mana, and some provide additional bonuses.
A higher-level Vassal that spends more time searching is more likely to find Land with more Features.
Land Features
Some Features provide bonuses for you and your Vassals.
- Aurora - +2% XP from battles in The Wild
- Butterfly Sanctuary - 1% chance to avoid a fatal blow in battle
- Black Diamond Vein - +3 minimum Quality of finds (of Land and Treasure)
- Pyramids - +5% base HP
- Volcano - +2 Strength
- Grand Canyon - +2 Stamina
- Edelweiss Field - +2 Dexterity
- Great Waterfall - +2 Intelligence
On Butterfly Sanctuaries
Each Butterfly Sanctuary offers a Vassal a 1% chance to, when its hit points are reduced to 0, gain 1 hit point, thereby avoiding death.
However, note that, for example, one-hundred 1% chances is not a 100% chance, but 100 attempts by the Vassal to essentially roll a 100-sided die and get a 1; it might not roll a 1 in any of its 100 attempts.
To find the final, actual % chance of surviving, use the following formula:
1 - 0.99x
Where x is the number of Butterfly Sanctuaries.
To continue the example of 100 Butterfly Sanctuaries, one-hunded 1% chances would give a 63.4% chance to avoid a fatal blow.
When viewing your Domain's Land, the real, total % chance to avoid a fatal blow is given (you do not need to make the calculation given above yourself).
Recycling Land
When recycling land, you will gain some Mana immediately - twice its Mana bonus, minus 1.
