Experience
Level
A Vassal's Level is a measure of its total knowledge and power.
Experience Points
Experience Points are gained by a Vassal when it defeats creatures of the Wild, discovers new Land, or completes other tasks.
Experience Points for a Vassal are given in a pair, for example 328 / 1000. The first number is the amount of Experience the Vassal has, the second is how many are required for the Vassal to increase in Level. When a Vassal increases in Level, this second number will likewise increase.
Skill Points
Skill Points are spent to increase Attributes, Hit Points, and Tactics.
Whenever a Vassal levels-up, it gains 5 Skill Points.
Technique Points
Technique Points are spent to increase Technique levels.
Whenever a Vassal levels-up, it gains 1 Technique Points.
Attributes
Each Attribute represents a Vassal's ability to channel a corresponding Element's power. For example, Stamina is related to the Earth element. Vassals with a higher Stamina score, therefore, will boost the damage of their Earth-based attacks. Attributes can affect Techniques in other ways as well (see Earth Mantra, Drowning, and others).
All Attributes can be raised by spending Skill Points, however the cost changes depending on which Attribute is the Vassal's Primary and Secondary.
The Primary Attribute costs 1 Skill Point per point for the first 100 points of the Attribute, 2 Skill points per point for the next 100 points of the Attribute, and so on.
The Secondary Attribute costs 1 Skill Point per point for the first 50 points of the Attribute, 2 Skill points per point for the next 50 points of the Attribute, and so on.
The other two Attributes costs 2 Skill Point per point for the first 50 points of the Attribute, 3 Skill points per point for the next 50 points of the Attribute, and so on.
Strength
Every point of Strength increases the damage and healing of Fire-based Techniques by 1%.
Stamina
Every point of Stamina increases the damage and healing of Earth-based Techniques by 1%.
Dexterity
Every point of Dexterity increases the damage and healing of Wind-based Techniques by 1%.
Intelligence
Every point of Intelligence increases the damage and healing of Water-based Techniques by 1%.
Hit Points
Hit Points rate how many hits a Vassal can take before dying. Of course, most attacks deal more than 1 point of damage.
Vassals start with 20 Hit Points.
Vassals gain a single Hit Point whenever they level-up.
Hit Points can be increased at a rate of 2 Skill Point per Hit Point.
Tactics
A Vassal's Tactics score determines the number of lines that Vassal may have in its Strategy.
Vassals start with 3 Tactics.
Tactics can be increased by spending Skill Points. The cost to inrease is equal to the current score (ex: it costs 3 Skill Points to increase Tactics from 3 to 4).
Techniques
Vassals start with a few Techniques according to their Primary and Secondary Attribute.
Techniques are the various actions a Vassal can take in combat. They are usually aligned with an Element - either Fire, Earth, Water or Wind - but there are a few non-Elemental Techniques.
New Techniques may be learned by using Technique Scrolls, or from Pantheon Scriveners.
Techniques can be leveled by spending Technique Points. The cost to inrease is equal to the current score (ex: it costs 2 Technique Points to increase a Technique from level 2 to 3).
